Cookie policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage or third-party scripts loaded into the page.

What works without asking you

somhi-consent: keeps your choice in the cookie notice, and when you made it, in your browser's local storage. It is our own, stays on your device and lasts 13 months.

When you press a booking button, the website loads the Cal.com calendar to show it to you. At that point Cloudflare, Cal.com's network provider, sets the __cf_bm cookie on the cal.com domain for 30 minutes to tell people from bots. Both are strictly necessary for the service you ask for, so they are exempt from consent.

What runs only if you accept

Analytics. Vercel Analytics counts page views and a few events, such as pressing a booking button or completing a booking. It works without cookies: it recognises a visit by a hashed identifier, computed from the request data, that changes every day. Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load. Both provide aggregate data only.

Calendar preload. Loads Cal.com's script (app.cal.com) while you browse, before you press book, so the calendar opens instantly. It means Cal.com receives your IP address and Cloudflare sets __cf_bm from your first visit. Without this option, the calendar loads only when you press.

Cookies inside the booking window

Inside the booking window, Cal.com may use its own technical cookies, which the booking needs to work. They are governed by Cal.com's privacy policy.

Changing your choice

You can accept, reject or configure each category in the notice shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time from “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. We will ask again after 13 months or if we add a new use.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Cal.com's cookies the calendar may not load; in that case you can write to us at info@som-hi.studio.
